Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Rosary Park Catholic School at Branxton. We are a two-stream Catholic school serving the parish of Branxton/Greta/Singleton and administered by Maitland Newcastle Catholic Schools Office.

Rosary Park is a wonderful place to live, work, learn and play. As a community of learners, founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1886 we value the unique gift of knowing our full potential and applying that learning to a myriad of different situations.

We are proud of our commitment to the core business of student learning. We encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning in an environment of support, nurture and partnership between teachers and parents. As we believe each student is different, we work towards establishing and then teaching towards the unique characteristics of each child.

Learning in our community is characterised by nurturing the growth of the whole child – mind, body and spirit. We strive to instil gospel values for our children and community, in the footsteps of the Founder of the Sisters of Mercy Catherine McAuley, an inspiring woman who reached out to those in need.

We want our Rosary Park children to enjoy their childhood, value our community and grow in confidence as they learn. To do this, we work as a team with families to achieve the best possible outcome for our students.

You will feel the welcome in the school, make new and valued lifelong friends and will be made to feel a very special member of our Rosary Park community.

I warmly welcome both visitors and our own community to our website. Our site serves as a reference for the day to day running of our school and the celebration of the many special events we enjoy. More importantly though, our site will give you a snapshot of what it is that articulates who we are and what we believe.

With best wishes,

Sallyanne Stanbridge
